OAB Definition

Bookwork with “an inexplicable air of power, attraction, [or] . . . which emanate[s] a precious or mystical . . . quality.” May be a “fetish [object] which make[s] use of the book in an erotically charged way or to exhibit and/or demonstrate sexually charged behavior.” The book object and its materiality are central in expressing this auraticism, often confirmed by the content.
