blizzard pocket

OAB Definition

non-adhesive, codex-like structure created from an accordion. Proportions are based on a rectangle, rather than a square (blizzard book). Pages are formed by making triangular folds at a more acute angle than the blizzard book, resulting in gusseted pocket-pages. Hedi Kyle and Ulla Warchol describe the form as a blizzard book “turned around.”
