divinity circuit binding
OAB Definition
book structure using a limp material, such as vellum or leather, as a cover that extends beyond the textblock to form a flap which folds down over the head, tail, and/or foredge of a book. Often used for devotional texts and occasionally for poetry.
Don Etherington and Matt T. Roberts specify that yapp bindings have continuous edges and circuit binding’s foredge flaps are cut at the corners.
