ABT Definition
Book structured as small paperboard folder (matchcover) enclosing a quantity of small wooden sticks or stiff paper with a coarse striking surface on the exterior. Alternatively, matchbooks may be structured as a small box containing matches. This includes bookworks that do not contain matches but rather take on the form of a matchbook or matchbox container.
