blind book
OAB Definition
binding that mimics the structure of a window shade, using a folded accordion or single panels to create a book form that could hang. The structure may rely on a thread through a punched hole or holes in each leaf or other binding method with thread.
In Structure of a Visual Book, Keith Smith categorizes the four types of books as codex, fan, Venetian blind (OAB term: blind), and oriental fold (OAB term: accordion).
A structure resembling the traditional palm leaf book may be considered a blind book.
