envelope flap
OAB Definition
type of fore-edge flap that is roughly triangular, like the closing flap of an envelope. Used commonly in Arabic bindings, where they are tucked beneath the front board, instead of over it, as are the fore-flaps of most European books.
Could be used in reference to any tab and slot style closure with an envelope-like tab.
