OAB Definition
book of rules and instructions to perform an operation, task, process, or occupation. Intended to be used as a reference during implementation or study of the task.
The BARD website notes:
“In artist’s books, this form is often employed for artistic use—perhaps the information given is lyrical, personal or not generally useful in the traditional sense.”
May also describe an operation or procedure done by hand rather than by machine.
