OAB Definition

single gathering of sheets, folded into a section and sewn through the fold. The stitching pattern usually has an odd number of sewing stations and is secured with a knot at the middle station, either inside or outside of the pamphlet.

ABT Definition

Bindings created by attaching the pages of a gathering through the fold, usually by sewing or stapling.
